Why Relace Your Glove???
Why Relacing Your Glove Matters???
Over Time, glove laces stretch, crack, and break. When that happens, your glove:
Loses its shape and pocket
Feels loose or “mushy”
Becomes less reliable on hard-hit balls
Is more likely to fail in a big moment
Instead of buying a brand new glove, a quality relace:
Restores the structure and pocket you love
Extends the life of your glove
Gives you a fresh, game-ready feel with your same trusted leather
FAQs
Glove Relacing FAQ
Q: How long does relacing take?
A: Typical turnaround is 10-14 days at this time, depending on our current workload and the condition of your glove. Specialized colors also take more time to order the lace.
Q: Do you work on softball gloves too?
A: Yes! We relace both baseball and softball gloves of all sizes.
Q: Can I choose my lace color?
A: Yes. We carry several stock lace colors. We also have specialty colors that can be ordered, but it will take some additional time to order and get the laces.
Q: What if my glove is really old or cracked?
A: We’ll evaluate it first. If the leather is too dry or cracked to safely relae, we’ll be honest and let you know your options.
Q: Do you reshape the glove too?
A: We tighten the structure and pocket with new laces. We can also lightly shape it based on your position and preference.
Q: Do you replace leather parts or sew torn gloves?
A: On a limited basis we can replace things like thumb and pinky loops and webbings. At this time, we CANNOT sew torn leather.
